This is an optional insurance plan to protect against unexpected circumstances which could prevent you from making the monthly payments on your bike.
Available for private riders including those in full time education, our extensive range of insurance cover can protect your payments in the event of anything from accident and redundancy to critical illness or death.
CREDITCARE will cover your monthly bike payments, and in some cases will even settle the outstanding balance on your finance agreement.
LIFE COVER
If, during the term of your payment protection plan you die your personal representative could claim against this cover. The cover provides a single benefit equal to the amount you owe under your credit agreement including any final repayment if applicable (less any arrears) at the date of your death.
ACCIDENT OR SICKNESS COVER
If, during the term of your payment protection plan you are off work due to accident or sickness for 30 consecutive days or more, you could claim against this cover. The cover provides a benefit equal to the monthly repayment under your credit agreement. Accident or sickness cover is subject to a maximum of 24 monthly benefit payments during the term of your agreement.
CRITICAL ILLNESS COVER
If, during the term of your payment protection plan you are diagnosed by a doctor as suffering from, or you need an operation for, a specified critical illness you could claim against this cover. This cover provides a single benefit equal to the amount you owe under your credit agreement including any final repayment, if applicable, (less any arrears) at the date of diagnosis.
UNEMPLOYMENT COVER
If, during the term of your payment protection plan you are unemployed for 30 consecutive days or more you could claim against this cover. This cover provides a monthly benefit equal to the monthly repayment under your credit agreement. Unemployment cover is subject to a maximum of 12 monthly benefit payments during the term of your agreement.
