The Motor Cycle News reader surveys regularly question more than 12,000 readers as part of its ‘MCN Biking Britain Survey’. A total of 1.5 million questions have been answered in total since the surveys began, with each reader answering 100 questions about their motorcycle covering such diverse characteristics as rider comfort, build quality, reliability, handling, as well as style, running costs, engine and braking performance.
This survey success echoes the recent victory for the CBR600F/RR in the British Dealer News Industry Awards, where the venerable machine scooped ‘Used Machine of 2009’ - as voted for by more than 500 motorcycle dealers around the UK - as well as backing up Honda machines recently being voted a staggering 25 out of the top 100 ‘best bikes’ by UK motorcyclists.
Steve Martindale, General Manager of Honda (UK) Motorcycles commented,
“We know that Honda machines have a good reputation for reliability and quality, but it’s great to have this reconfirmed and recognised by the people who are really important to us – our customers. An incredible amount of research, development, passion and effort goes into every single Honda machine so it’s extra-special to know that this is reflected in the British motorcycling community’s belief that Hondas are the best-built bikes. It also proves that new or used, there’s even more reason to buy a Honda.”
The latest range of Honda machines can be seen and test ridden at Doble Motorcycles on Valentine’s weekend, for the official launch of the 2010 model line-up, to include the much anticipated VFR1200F, head turning VT1300CX Fury and stylish VT750 Black Spirit.
