We have a range of products to protect your pride and joy

Every motorcycle we sell comes with a warranty, with the type and duration of the warranty being dependant on the motorcycle that you are purchasing. To maximise the protection that your motorcycle is afforded we offer a number of options to extend this warranty.

New Honda Motorcycles & Used Honda Motorcycles within factory warranty.

All our brand new Honda motorcycles come with a 2 year manufacturer warranty, with the exception of the VFR1200F and VFR1200X Crosstourer which come with a 3 year manufacturer warranty. Included with the manufacturer warranty is Hondacare Assist (Roadside Assistance) for the duration of the warranty.

If you are purchasing a new Honda motorcycle or a used Honda motorcycle that is stilll within it's factory warranty you can choose to extend this warranty for up to 2 years:

If you're buying a new bike

Our New Bike Extension Guarantee gives you European Roadside Assistance from day one, and an extra year's peace of mind after your warranty runs out.

Is it for me and when can I buy it?

This is the guarantee for you if you've just purchased a brand new Honda bike. You need to buy the plan within 30 days of registration, and before you have 1000 miles on the clock.

What's the cover level?

Extends Manufacturer's warranty by an additional 12 months.* (excludes frame, panels, consumables and accidental/malicious damage)

Roadside Assistance

36 months Hondacare Roadside Assistance (UK & Europe) including onward travel from day one through to the end of the Guarantee.

Option 2 - Extended Guarantee

If your bike is a little older

The Extended Guarantee picks up when your warranty ends, giving you either 12 or 24 months more peace of mind. We'll give also you European Roadside Assistance for the duration of the Guarantee.

This is the guarantee for you if your bike's a little older but still covered by the factory warranty.

All Mechanical and Electrical parts.* (excludes frame, panels, consumables and accidental/malicious damage)

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I do if I break down?

To get assistance at home or at the roadside, simply call Hondacare Assistance on 0800 521 728.

What about if I have a claim?

Just take your bike to your local Honda Dealer and they'll take care of everything.

Can I pay by direct debit?

Yes, you can spread the cost over ten easy direct debit payments.

How quickly does the cover start, once I buy it?

The new bike extension guarantee starts on the date of your bike's registration - European roadside assistance kicks in immediately!

The extended guarantee starts as soon as your factory warranty ends, giving you seamless reassurance.

How do I get my documentation?

Once the guarantee has been registered by your Dealer, they'll print off a full set of documentation there and then.

What if I lose my paperwork?

It's not a problem, another copy can be printed off by your Dealer at any time.

Used Motorcycles

When purchasing a used motorcycle from us you get the peace of mind of a minimum warranty for 3 months / 3000 miles. If the motorcycle is within it's factory warranty you will enjoy the remainder of this, and if there is less than 3 months on the factory warranty remaining we will include our warranty to give you 3 months peace of mind.

To give you peace of mind outside of the first 3 months we offer various extended warranty options:

Honda Happiness Extended Guarantee

We want to give you the peace of mind that comes from knowing that your bike's covered, whatever's round the corner. Our Guarantee offers exactly that: from the starter motor to the cylinder head you can let us take care of the unexpected.

It's available on any UK specification bike that's less than 7 years old and have covered less than 60,000 miles. It's also fully transferable to the next owner should you sell your bike.

Cover starts immediately with a maximum of £1,000 per claim and there's no limit on the number of claims you can make. All this from around £20 a month.

We cover the bike, not the rider, and ask that you keep your bike serviced in line with the manufacturer's recommendations to keep the guarantee valid.

Of course we can't cover items that simply wear out with day-to-day use. So your tyres, brake pads and friction plates, for example, need to form part of your own maintenance. Similarly paintwork and body panels, cowlings, fairings, windscreens, trims, seats, batteries, exhaust systems and airbags are your responsibility.

Whether you want your guarantee to run for one year or two, we'll include Hondacare UK Roadside Assistance absolutely free.

This means that you'll get: Homestart, Roadside Assistance, Recovery Assistance and Honda message service all thrown in for nothing.

AutoProtect

With the Premier Cover for Used Motorcycles from AutoProtect all mechanical and electrical components are included against any Mechanical Breakdown during the warranty period, provided that the terms and conditions of the agreement are fully complied with. All parts are covered subject to an exclusion list which is available on demand.

Additionally the product includes Bike Breakdown Recovery and MOT Test Insurance, with full details available on request.
