First previewed at the International ICMA Motorcycle show at the beginning of November 2018, the all new Honda CBR650R had been a widely anticipated addition to Honda's already well catered for model line up.
The popular outgoing Honda CBR650F was the starting point for the new machine with a whole host of innovations. It's new shape body styling almost lifted directly from the legendary Honda Fireblade gives it a modern and sleek look that is set to be a market leader in the middle weight sector of the market. It has re positioned handle bars giving a more forward leaning riding position. With an uprated rear shock absorber, twin ram air intake ducts, lighter frame saving 6kg over the CBR650F giving an 8% improved power to weight ratio.
It features 41mm up-side-down Showa forks, HSTC Assist and slipper clutch with is higher revving engine with 5% more peak power and a stronger pick-up above 7,000 RPM. It comes as standard with LED lights and a complete quartet of LED indicators. The instrument panel has a bright LCD display with an integrated gear shift indicator.
Normally available in two colour variants of just Red or Black, we're proud to bring this one-off bespoke and very distinctive Repsol Racing Design featuring the additional, colour-coded, genuine Honda OEM, single seat converter cowl and colour matched wheel.
