We've worked tirelessly over the years to create a fantastic reputation for customer service that has won us MCN's Dealer Of The Year award no less than three times, but more importantly we have a loyal customer base that continues to grow year on year. Workshop Technician

Our technicians are the heart and soul of our successful Service Centre and carry out  servicing and repairs of our customer's motorcycles from a range of manufacturers. We're looking to add another experienced technician to the team to enhance productivity and maintain our already high standards. The successful candidate must have already served a recognised aprenticeship or other dealership training scheme and be experienced in the diagnosis, servicing, maintenance and repair of motorcycles.

Hours: 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Saturday with a day off in the week.

Salary: Dependent upon experience.
Holiday: 20 days per year plus Bank Holidays.

Motorcycle Parts & Accessories Advisor

This is not a back room role. As a Parts Advisor at Doble Motorcycles, you are at the heart of the dealership’s operation; supporting the workshop, delighting customers, and driving parts and accessory sales.

You will be responsible for ensuring the right parts are in the right place at the right time, while delivering a professional, proactive, and memorable customer experience. Accuracy, organisation, commercial awareness, and customer focus are critical to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Parts, Stock & Logistics

• Receive, inspect, verify, and accurately book in parts and goods from suppliers.

• Correctly locate stock within established bin systems and storage locations.

• Maintain stock in a secure, saleable condition, in line with manufacturer and supplier requirements.

• Identify, locate, and pick parts accurately using catalogues, systems, and technical knowledge.

• Support robust stock control by reporting discrepancies, variances, supersessions, or damage immediately.

Sales & Commercial Performance

• Proactively supply all required parts and identify additional or incremental sales opportunities.

• Actively promote slow-moving or ageing stock through display and customer engagement.

• Work within agreed pricing, discount structures, and customer credit terms at all times.

• Ensure payment, deposits, or authorised credit approval is obtained for all transactions.

• Contribute to parts displays, promotions, events, and marketing initiatives across the dealership.

Customer & Workshop Support

• Deliver outstanding service to retail customers and workshop staff alike.

• Ensure all parts issued are correct, serviceable, and suitable for their intended application.

• Communicate professionally and confidently, reinforcing the reputation of Doble Motorcycles and its franchises.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues, sharing knowledge to improve performance and customer satisfaction.

Administration & Compliance

• Accurately record all stock movements, sales, returns, and adjustments within the stock control system.

• Maintain organised, up-to-date parts catalogues and reference materials.

• Handle cash, card payments, and cheques securely and in accordance with company procedures.

• Remain vigilant against fraud, unauthorised stock removal, and procedural breaches.

Brand Representation

• Act as an ambassador for Doble Motorcycles at all times.

• Enhance the company’s reputation through professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail in every interaction.

We are looking for someone who combines technical understanding with commercial instinct and strong customer skills.

Essential Attributes

• Strong numeracy and literacy skills, with excellent attention to detail.

• Experience using parts catalogues (paper or electronic) and stock control systems.

• A practical understanding of motorcycle or automotive vehicle construction.

• Confident communicator with a courteous, customer-first approach.

• Highly organised, reliable, and methodical in their work.

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience in a motorcycle, automotive, or dealership parts environment.

• Proven ability to upsell parts and accessories through effective customer qualification.

• Familiarity with workshop operations and technician requirements.

• Experience handling cash, card payments, and credit accounts.

Personal Qualities

• Commercially minded and motivated to increase sales and profitability.

• Professional, trustworthy, and calm under pressure.

• A team player who takes pride in supporting colleagues and customers alike.

• Enthusiastic about motorcycles and committed to delivering high standards.
