The huge rise in popularity of Adventure bikes in recent years has played into the hands of Triumph as they were already a big player in this sector with their Tiger range of bikes. This simply meant a natural evolution of their already popular Explorer range would be all that was needed to keep them ahead of the game. The Explorer name has now been dropped, so it is now known simply as the Tiger 1200, or 1215 to be more accurate.
On offer here we have a gorgeous example of the Tiger 1200 XCA that we've managed to prize away from its owner. He loved it so much that he couldn't keep off of it and covered an amazing 10k miles in under a year. You wouldn't know that it had covered those miles though as he keeps his bikes in impeccable condition throughout.
Being the XCA variant, it comes with the switchable rider modes which include Rain, Road, Sport, Off Road and Off Road Pro. Much like the majority of adventure bikes out there, this one has never even seen mud or even been down a dirt track.
It comes with a pair of genuine Triumph OEM aluminium rugged pannier cases making it the ideal long distance tourer. These lock into position securely and release using a single key operation. It has a set of low level engine protection bars, a pair of forward facing spot lights, an awesome Arrow sports exhaust and being the latest model features the new, wide-view TFT display dash.
You'd be hard pressed to top this machine for the money given the complete price tag when it was supplied new with all the extras.
